Quick Microwavable Mac and Cheese in a Mug

In a time crunch? This recipe is quick to whip up and calls for just a few ingredients, making this mug recipe a fan favorite.


 Yield: 1 serving



  • ½ cup elbow macaroni(50 g)

  • ½ cup water(120 mL)

  • 3 tablespoons milk

  • salt, to taste

  • pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese(25 g)

  • 1 /4 tsp Lasa's Onion Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Lasa's Garlic Powder

  • fresh chive, to garnish, optional



  1. Mix the macaroni, water, and salt in a microwaveable mug.

  2. Microwave for 2-3 minutes, then stir.

  3. Add the milk, cheese, salt, pepper, Lasa's Onion Powder, and Lasa's Garlic Powder then stir.

  4. Microwave for another 30 seconds, stir, and garnish with a sprinkle of chives.

  5. Enjoy!
